Lacy Arnett Mayberry is a writer & reader living in Texas, where she teaches at a community college. She won the Boulevard Magazine 2021 Short Fiction Contest for Emerging Writers and was awarded the 2014 AWP Kurt Brown Prize for fiction. Her work has appeared in Washington Square Review, The Pinch Journal, Literary Mama, Tammy, Permafrost, and Ravishly, among other publications. She received an MFA from Lesley University.
